＜個展のコンセプト＞
私は自分の中に2 種類の意識があると考えています。
1 つはエゴイスティックになりがちな個人の意識、
もう1 つは自分を含む全てが共有している愛の意識です。
私の作品に描かれる｢線｣は個人の意識を、
｢面｣は愛の意識を意味します。
私は、2 種類の意識がせめぎ合いながら、
調和しようとしている姿を視覚化しています。
意識を探究しながら制作することで、
私は人生に対する多くの大切なことに気付かされます。
それは私の制作のモチベーションです。
＜評論家による個展の紹介文＞
谷村優希の作品は、私たちを彼女の意識によって作られる世界観に導きます。
彼女は作品において2 種類の意識を探求しています。
一つは自分の意識を認識すること、もう一つは物の本質たる意識を知ることです。
自己の意識を認識することは複雑で、
利己的になりがちであると同時に、他人との協調を要すると思います。
物の本質である意識の認識というものは、
すべての存在と価値への共感を意味していると思います。
谷村優希の作品は、この相反する複雑さを線と色の調和で表しています。
夢の中の様に、自己の意識を表すほのかな糸と、愛を表す色面が混ざり合い
思い出の霧のようなイメージが生まれています。

＜The concept of this exhibition＞
I think there are two kinds of consciousness in me.
One is an individual consciousness that tends to be egoistic,
and the other one is the consciousness of love
that are shared by all things including myself.
The 'lines' in my works mean the individual consciousness
and the 'colored fields' mean the consciousness of love.
So I visualize the two kinds of consciousness
trying to harmonize conflicting each other.
My creation exploring consciousness
make me notice many important things about the life.
That is the motivation of my creation.
＜The introduction of this exhibition by French critic＞
Yuki Tanimura nous plonge dans
une vision du monde perçu par sa conscience.
Son travail s’affirme comme une exploration
de la conscience à deux niveaux
celui de la conscience de soi
et celui de la conscience du monde
qui permet de connaître l’essence de choses.
La conscience de soi est complexe, à la fois égoïste et empathique.
La conscience du monde est l’amour partagé de la totalité des êtres et des choses.
Le travail de Yuki Tanimura représente cette complexité
par l’harmonie des lignes individuelles
et des couleurs de l’amour universel qui se fondent dans l’oeuvre.
Comme dans un rêve, des images se forment où les fils ténus
de la conscience égoïste se mêlent aux couleurs
de l’amour du monde et à la brume du souvenir.
